Free MTD Bridging for Sole Traders and Landlords

No Strings Attached.

No accounting software No bank feed No subscription

MTD means keeping digital records, but it does not mean you need full accounting software or a bank feed. Use your own spreadsheet or start with our free template. With flonancial, you select the totals for your quarterly update, review them, and submit to HMRC in minutes. The mandatory aspects of MTD, quarterly updates and the year-end tax return, will always remain free with flonancial. Not as a trial or limited-time offer, but as part of our commitment to simple, accessible MTD compliance.

Why is flonancial free? What's the catch?

There isn't one. Your spreadsheet is parsed in your browser, so we only see the totals you choose to submit to HMRC. HMRC's API is free to use. We never see your individual transactions or bank details, we don't sell your information, and we don't show you ads. We are working on adding some nifty optional features, but in the meantime we can promise that the core service of submitting to HMRC quarterly and the end-of-year tax return will always be free with flonancial.

Built for sole traders and UK landlords

  • Pure bridging software, we read your turnover and expenses and submit them to HMRC
  • Purely browser-based and secure, your spreadsheet never leaves your device. No plug-ins needed.
  • We don't sell or share your data. No tracking cookies, no ads. Privacy-friendly, cookie-free analytics only.
  • We only store the summary figures you submit, no transactions, no spreadsheet data
  • Keep your records in your spreadsheet exactly as you do now
  • Free, and not just for the first year. MTD bridging with flonancial will always be free.
  • Secure HMRC connection via official OAuth, we never see your HMRC password
  • Operated by Flonancial Ltd (Company No. 17090724)
